chartr.ai is a chart creation and sharing platform that uses artificial intelligence to help users create and share visual content ("Charts").

3. Account Registration

  • You may be required to create an account to use certain features of the Service
  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

4. User Content

4.1 Content Creation and Ownership

  • You retain ownership of the input data you provide to create Charts
  • You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, and display your Charts for the purpose of providing the Service
  • Charts are generated using third-party AI services (including OpenAI and Anthropic), and the resulting outputs are subject to their respective terms and conditions

4.2 Content Sharing

  • Charts are private by default and only visible to you
  • You may choose to share Charts publicly or with specific users
  • Once shared, Charts cannot be edited, but can be deleted
  • We do not claim ownership of your shared Charts

4.3 Content Restrictions

You agree not to create or share Charts that:

  • Violate any applicable laws
  • Contain harmful, threatening, or discriminatory content
  • Infringe on intellectual property rights
  • Contain malware or malicious code
  • Include explicit, adult, or NSFW content
  • Promote hate speech or violence
  • Contain personally identifiable information without consent

5. Service Usage and Limitations

  • The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
  • We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service
  • We may impose usage limits or restrictions on features
  • Free and paid service tiers may be offered with different features and limitations

5.1 AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

  • The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate Charts and visual content
  • AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies, errors, or inconsistencies
  • Users are responsible for verifying the accuracy of any AI-generated content
  • We make no representations or warranties about the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of AI-generated content
  • Users acknowledge that they use AI-generated content at their own risk
  • We are not liable for any decisions, actions, or consequences resulting from the use of AI-generated content

6. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service:

  • For violations of these Terms
  • For creating or sharing prohibited content
  • At our sole discretion, with or without cause
  • Upon reasonable notice via email

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the Service.
